Waste
When renting your holiday home, an environmental charge is levied.
At the environmental centre, you will find a bottle bank, paper bin and residual waste bin. We would like to ask you to separate your waste and deposit it in the appropriate bins.
Arrival
Upon arrival please register at the reception. Make sure that any guests are also registered. In case of an emergency we would like to know exactly who is present.
Car
A maximum speed of 5 km/hour applies on the entire park.
Per accommodation it is allowed to park 1 car. Other cars can be parked on the general car park at the entrance to the park.
Can you swim at EuroParcs Markermeer?
On sunny days, you can enjoy the Markermeer at EuroParcs Markermeer. The water here is relatively shallow, making it particularly suitable for paddling and cooling off. Would you like to go for a proper swim? You can always use the swimming pool at EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand. For more information, please contact the reception.
Pets
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. They can be taken out of the park.

Each holiday home has a wifi connection.

All our holiday homes are non-smoking.
Property lock
The doors of the holiday homes have an additional lock.
To lock the door, first lift the door handle and then turn the key.

What to do before departure
Please check out by 10:00 am. You can do this at the reception during opening hours. Is the reception closed? Then you can deposit the key in the designated mailbox near the reception.
- Strip the beds.
- Place rented items by the front door.
- Empty the refrigerator and set it to the lowest setting. Do not switch it off.
- Do not leave any dirty dishes behind. Empty the dishwasher and check the coffee filter.
- Take the waste to the waste disposal area.
- Close all windows and doors and switch off all lights.
- Leave the accommodation swept clean.
- Turn the thermostat down to 15 degrees. Switch off gas heaters completely.

Europarcs Markermeer bezig om de sleutel naar een groenere wereld te krijgen door duurzamer te ondernemen. Wij doen dit aan de hand van de normen van Green Key, hét internationale keurmerk voor duurzame bedrijven in de recreatie- en vrijetijdsbranche. Ons park heeft op dit moment zelfs een goud keurmerk.
Hierbij kunnen we jouw hulp ook goed gebruiken! Je kunt ons helpen door de verlichting uit te zetten en de thermostaat op 10 graden te zetten bij afwezigheid, te letten op onnodig
waterverbruik en het afval zoveel mogelijk te scheiden.
Al onze verhuurwoningen voldoen aan de greenkey normen. We hebben op het park ook woningen die niet in de verhuur zitten, deze worden niet beoordeeld.
Ons park heeft dit jaar het zilveren certificaat behaald!

- Please make sure to have a fire extinguisher at hand

We do not rent boats ourselves at the holiday park. However, you can rent a boat from Rijo boat hire and Happy Boats. If you have any questions about this, please ask at reception.

You can easily rent bicycles and e-bikes at EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand in Enkhuizen. On the park itself, you can rent bicycles through Click & Rent. This is arranged separately from the reception and can easily be done via the Click&Rent app, which can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.

Dogs are welcome on the holiday park when kept on a leash. Next to the park, there is a small beach where dogs are allowed to swim and run off-leash. The park also has a dog playground. In Bovenkarspel, you’ll find Streekbos, where part of the area is designated as an off-leash zone for dogs.
