A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Waste bags are available throughout the park to help keep the surroundings clean and enjoyable.
The area around the Markermeer is perfect for long walks with your dog. From the park, you can explore the beautiful surroundings of the Markermeer with walking routes along the water and through nature. It is the perfect place to enjoy peace, open space and the fresh outdoor air together.

- Pets are allowed in selected accommodations
- Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park
- Dogs are welcome on many walking routes and in nature areas nearby
